Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! I wonder how many times we have heard that growing up and then when we are adults we somehow forget it from time to time. 

With this blueberry smoothie you will never forget another breakfast again. It’s so easy, so yummy and sooo quick to make. All it requires is a blender and a handfull of ingredients.

Did you know that blueberries is packed with antioxidants? It’s a great source of vitamin C, vitamin K and Manganese. It’s also a very good source of dietary fiber.

Why is blueberries such a big deal?

  • Fruit sugar helps mantain a steady blood sugar lever
  • Lots of dietary fibers is good for the tummy
  • Works miracles for your skin!
  • Last in the freezer for ever

This blueberry smoothie also contains banana which has a lot of healthy fats. Bananas is the fruit with most fat and if you want to cut out on the fatty stuff you can have a banana with good contience. Their fat is actually healthy so it’s no big deal.

Oats is a big part of the smoothie and that is also where the protein comes from. You see protein is in pretty much anything so as a vegan protain is never a problem. 
The fact is that most people eat too much protein wich results in liver and kidney issues.

Ingredients for blueberry smoothie:

  • 2 medium bananas
  • 40 grams of oats
  • 40 grams of blueberry
  • 15 grams of chia seeds
  • 50 grams of frozen blueberries
  • 250 ml of oat milk

Method:

  • Add all your ingredients in a blender and mix
  • Enjoy with fresh blueberries granola or some vegan chocolate

Enjoy your breakkie at home listening to the birds and dream away to blueberry bushes in the forrest or have it on the go in the subway.
