Are you craving something filling yet super quick and delicious? This pasta with grean peas and chickpea dipp will fill you right up. And give your tastebuds a little dance at the same time.

This meal is packed with protein from both chickpeas and green peas. And if the kids are picky about eating greens you truly have the perfect dish. Just tell them it’s hulk food and ignore topping with peas.

This is an amazing dish for the entire family to enjoy. Children, mother inlaw, best friends. It will be a big yummy pasta party that everyone will love.

I’ve always been a huge fan of pasta and since going vegan I had to get creative so get that creamy yummy sacue. But hey who doesn’t like to experiment in the kitchen?
At least I do.

Are you ready for the recipe?

Ingredients for pasta with green peas and chickpea dipp:

  • 230 grams of chickpeas
  • 115 grams of peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 150 ml of water
  • Juice from half a lemon
  • 2 tbsp of tahini
  • 3 basil leafs
  • Salt and pepper
  • 200 grams of your favorite pasta, I used rigatoni

Method:

  • Boil your pasta
  • Mix water, lemon juice, garlc, basil leafs and tahini in a mixer
  • When it becomes cready add your chickpeas, peas (if you use frozen make sure you boul them first), salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mix until you get a creamy texture. Add a little more water if too thick

Now enjoy with the people you love most!
