Happy toast Tuesday with chocolate hummus from your dreams!
If you are not familiar with the term i’ll explain it to you. It’s a theme on instagram so all the food bloggers make toasts on Tuesdays. And on Sundays it’s pancake sunday. I love to watch all the creative creations on these days. It gives me so much inspiration. And toast Tuesday gave me inspiration to create this chocolate hummus.
This treat is failsafe and suuuuper delicious. Your kids will love you for making it. I love me for making it.
Breakfast might be one of the hardest things to know what to make when you transition into a plant-based diet. But with this quick and delicious chocolate hummus you will always have something to eat. Eat it on toast, from the jar or with fruits and berries.
I know it can be difficult to get your kids to eat beans but this delicious chocolate hummus solves it all. And it’s super healthy too. All boxes checked and you can with ease let your children have a spoon and eat it straight from the jar.

I litterary felt like a kid again when I made this. I have searched the internet for the best chocolate hummus recipe but I ended up making my own by picking bits and tips from here and there. And I’m so happy with the result and being able to share it with all of you.

Chocolate hummus - Portions: 6
Ingredients:
230 grams of canned chickpeas
3 tbsp of cocoa
A pinch of salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract or powder
4 tbsp of maple syrup
2 tbsp of water
Method:
Add all your ingredients in a blender and mix
Scrape down after 30 sek and continue to mix
Repeat until you have a creamy texture
Now hurry up and have some spoons before the rest of your family decides to dig in and eat it all.
